Privacy Policy

We keep this simple: SudokuHunt collects as little as possible, uses privacy-friendly analytics, and tells you plainly when money is involved.

Last updated: 23 June 2026. This policy explains what information SudokuHunt (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit this website, and how we use it.

Who we are

SudokuHunt is an independent Sudoku directory. For any privacy question or request, contact us at hello@sudokuhunt.com.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand which pages are popular. It is privacy-first: it does not use cookies, does not fingerprint you, and does not collect any personal data or track you across other websites. We see aggregate, anonymous figures only — such as page views and rough country-level location — never anything that identifies you personally.

Cookies

The website itself does not set tracking cookies. If, in the future, we display advertising (see below), those third-party providers may set cookies on your device. Where required by law — for example for visitors in the EEA and the UK — we will ask for your consent before any such non-essential cookies are used, and you will be able to decline.

Advertising

SudokuHunt may display advertising from third-party networks (for example Google AdSense and similar). When active, these providers may use cookies or device identifiers to serve and measure ads. You can learn about and control personalised advertising through Google Ads Settings and aboutads.info. We will update this policy before any advertising goes live.

Affiliate & paid placements

Some outbound links may be affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission if you visit a site or make a purchase — at no extra cost to you. Some listings may also be paid or sponsored placements submitted by the site owner. We mark or disclose these relationships, and they never change our independent editorial judgement about which puzzles are actually good.

Links to other sites

SudokuHunt is a directory, so most links send you to external websites we do not own or control. Once you leave SudokuHunt, this policy no longer applies — please read the privacy policy of any site you visit.

Children’s privacy

SudokuHunt is a general-audience site and is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data, or to object to certain processing. Because our analytics collect no personal data, we usually hold nothing that identifies you — but if you have a request, email hello@sudokuhunt.com and we’ll help.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site grows — especially before turning on advertising. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above.
